The following procedures are adopted for borrowing books from the library.
Each ticket will enable the borrower to take one book only.
The book borrowed by the students should be returned within a week from the date of issue
The ticket will be given to the borrower when he/she returns the book
The due will be stamped on the slip pasted on the first page of the book borrowed.
Extension of time after one week will not be permitted.
If the book is not returned in due date a fine of 51- Rupees per day will be levied from the borrower.
The outgoing students are to return their borrower tickets at the end of the respective academic year and get the clearance certificate form the Librarian.
The course completion certificate shall be issued only on producing the No Due Certificate 'from the Librarian.
The loss of Library books of Library borrower tickets should be reported immediately to the Principal in written form.
Duplicate ticket will be issued after an enquiry and on payment of Rs. 501- per ticket.
If any book is lost, the borrower should replace another copy of the same in good condition or he/she will be required to pay double the cost of the published price of the book.
The Users of the Library are strictly instructed to leave off all their books, note books and bags outside the Library
Silence should be strictly observed in the Library.
Reference books are not meant for lending and they should not be taken out of the Library.
The open access system is followed. Students are not permitted to replace the books in the shelves after the use.
Current periodicals and Journals shall not be issued. Earlier issues of the same shall be issued to the staff members only.
The borrowers will be held responsible for any lapse, damage and non-return of the book issued.
The Library may accept donation of books from individuals, societies and institutions. Such donations once accepted will become the absolute property of the College.
