The department was established in 1995 With a B.Sc in Electronics and communication science. Electronic equipments are becoming a basic necessity in today's world. Application of electronics is becoming wide in every gadget used today. So this field is growing faster every day. There are better job opportunities in this field for those who are looking for a career after B.Sc electronics in both private and public sector.
Applicants who have cleared higher secondary examination with mathematics or computer science are eligible.
This field has an opportunity in two types of industries, Telecom Industries, and Software Industries. An electronics and communication graduate can work in aviation and avionics, consumer electronics, electricity plant, manufacturing, distribution, communication & telecommunication, computer application, radio & television, analytical equipment manufacturing and offshore industries. There is a chance to get a central government job, state government job and in public & private sectors.
